First Meeting Sept. 17, Covering Union Jobsite Access
ΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅ of America is pleased to announce a new initiative to enhance service to our open-shop members:Β quarterly Open Shop Committee Web Meetings.Β Β These virtual meetings will be free and open to all interested ΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅ chapter staff and members, whether or not they are members of the committee.Β Each meeting will feature: (1) an update by ΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅ staff on relevant matters; (2) a βQuick Learnβ presentation (typically under 30 minutes) by an expert on a different labor-related topic of interest; and (3) a roundtable discussion about that topic and other labor matters of interest at that time.Β
The first web meeting is scheduled for Sept. 17 at 3:00 p.m. EDT.Β The Quick Learn topic will be Union Rights to Access Your Jobsite, presented by attorney of Ogletree Deakins.Β ΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅ members and chapter staff may register at:Β . Β
Call-in and login information will be emailed to individuals who register using the above link one or two business days prior to the meeting.
