Register Now for Â鶹ÊÓƵ's Construction Environmental Conference

Join us on September 12-13, 2018 in Crystal City, Virginia

Are you ready for great discussions and learning something new at this year’s environmental conference?  Registration is open, so reserve your seat for the returning to the DoubleTree by Hilton in Crystal City, Virginia, on September 12-13.

The CEC is the nation’s foremost annual conference to hone in on the most critical environmental compliance and risk issues impacting the business of construction – in the building, highway and transportation, and utility infrastructure markets.  Whether your goal is an excellent compliance record, to keep abreast of key developments and trends, or to gain a greater perspective on how environmental issues affect your job responsibilities or your projects — .

The day and a half conference includes networking events and over a dozen educational sessions, providing options for attendees through a mixture of plenary and breakout sessions.  Volunteers from Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Environmental Forum help choose the topics, which typically cover issues such as:

  • Managing environmental requirements and risk:
for example air, water, waste, hazardous materials and contaminants, emergency reporting and response, or species, etc.
  • Factoring environmental concerns into phases of a project:
e.g., planning, estimating, insuring, permitting and mitigation, operations, or quality controls, etc.
  • Expanding your knowledge and skills:
e.g., sustainability, resilience, training and leadership, technology, materials and life-cycle analysis, or trends, etc.
  • Â鶹ÊÓƵ member volunteers are reviewing the speaker recommendations we received from past conference attendees and members of Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Environmental Forum.  The final agenda for the 2018 CEC will be available online soon.  For travel purposes, please see the agenda at-a-glance.

Environmental professionals working in-house at general construction firms have the option to meet the day prior the conference for peer-driven discussions. (Separate registration applies.)
