Â鶹ÊÓƵ of America will be holding a Collective Bargaining Seminar during the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Annual Convention. The day-long seminar will take place from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas, NV. The seminar is part of Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Annual Convention, but Â鶹ÊÓƵ members and chapter staff not attending the convention may attend for a separate registration fee.
The seminar will cover legal, practical, and strategic considerations for management-side negotiators. Attendees will enhance their knowledge and skills by learning about collective bargaining laws, best practices in preparing for and conducting negotiations, communication skills, and more.
Advanced registration is required. Convention registrants may for the seminar as part of the convention process for an extra fee of $300. Â鶹ÊÓƵ members and chapter staff who will not be attending the convention may register for the seminar alone for a fee of $400 .
The convention will feature additional sessions of particular interest to union contractors. Including on March 14th at 9:30 AM., the Union Contractors Committee will host the State of the (Iron Workers) Union session, where Eric Dean, general president of the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Iron Workers will be the guest speaker.
